OLM file extension associated with Microsoft Outlook for Mac. Outlook for Mac Data File (OLM file), contains emails, contacts and other email items.
To reduce the size of your Inbox, you can export manually archive to an Outlook for Mac Data File (.olm) on your Mac system. You can move to one Mac system to another computer.
In MS Outlook for Windows, the archive file saved as .PST format. Outlook for Windows has option to automatically archive your Outlook Data file (PST) known as AutoArchive. This feature not available in Outlook for Mac, but you can use Time Machine for archive data automatically. Time Machine -backup software developed by Apple Inc.
